A scone is between a cookie and a biscuit. Our Maple Fig Scone starts with our proprietary dough mix of high quality flour, organic butter, organic cage free eggs, heavy cream, cane sugar, organic and non-AL baking powder, baking soda & salt. All of our scones are made by hand in small batches. The scone dough starts out in a commercial mixer until all the ingredients are just combined. The dough is then gently rolled out on a floured table until a level thickness is achieved. After allowing the dough to rest, individual scones are pressed out using a lightly floured scone cutter. Every scone is placed onto a baking sheet where they are topped with luscious heavy cream and the perfect amount of brown sugar. Finally, they are baked in a convection oven until they achieve a perfect golden brown color. The final product is a unique, one of a kind, scone lover’s delight.
